On August 20, 1972 Maurice Gregory aka "Brian" made his first appearance in the world. The music industry would later come to know unquestionably one of the Greatest Super-producers, Musician and Songwriter born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. At the present age of 33 he is currently known for his incomparable unique style of music. Music was always a strong influence in his life since his parents were also from a musical background. At the tender age of 5 his father introduced him to music through the guitar. Unbeknownst to the importance of the very phrase music which he would come to cherish, he did not take the teachings seriously. His guitar playing father nonetheless taught him how to play his first instrument. Through his teachings he tried to instill in him the importance of the art, Music. At that time Maurice did not know that through his father’s teachings, God was revealing his sole purpose for him here on earth. He also discovered that not only was he blessed with the gift of playing instruments but the gift of singing. The sound that he exudes is generated to capture the heart, mind and soul of listeners turning them from non-believers into believers. Every song that he sings is sang with heartfelt emotion and every lyric is written with inspiration. After spending time shaping his talent both as a singer and musician in church, his experience led to his interest in other instruments such as the keyboard, drums and bass.

He started his first tour in his early teenage years with a group called Justin Hines & the Dominoes. He traveled the world with countless artists such as Toots & the Maytal, Diana King, Tony Rebel, Mykal Rose, Judy Mowatt, Wayne Wonder, Shine Head and Freddie Mcgregor.

One of the crucial breaking points in his musical career came when he hooked up with Jamaican Super-producer Tony "CD" Kelly, one of the most top hit makers in the industry today. Kelly is well-known for hits like "Anything for you" featuring Nadine Sutherland, "Deport Dem" or "Like Glue" by Sean Paul, " Everyone Falls in Love" by Tanto Metro and Devonte. At their point of contact Kelly expressed to Maurice the many efforts he had made to contact him because of the respect he gave him as a musician/producer whom he desired to work with. Their union led to several hits such as "King of the Dancehall", "Hmm Hmm" by Beenie Man and "Anything Goes" by Wayne Wonder. He has also worked on several projects with Kenroy "Yahbreeze" Archibald, Producer/CEO of 876Records in South Florida. Maurice’s recent production includes songs on Gospel artist Papasan’s new album, Real & Personal "Jus’ seh di word" & "It’s all about you." He also produced on Shaggy’s upcoming new album.

Amidst his production and performance as musician and background singer, he has not forgotten his sole purpose.

Gregory’s new label Mastrak Productions is dedicated to the ministry to express his undying love for the one who has created him for the main thing he knows how to do, Music. His latest production includes new upcoming album from Gospel Artist Glacia Robinson. He is currently working on his debut album and also with his female Gospel Group SHAZE on their debut album under his new label MASTRAK PRODUCTIONS .

His motto "With Christ all things are possible" still stands today and it brings him joy to know that through God he will live life more abundantly.
