Part of a series I'm doing of covers of songs written by some of my very talented singer-songwriter friends. This one I actually had to have a few goes at because I kept getting choked up. It's by my friend John Crosslin and it's called "Chevrolet Jesus." It was performed here on a bare bed in what used to be my bedroom at my mother's house (its decor was not so feminine at the time).
