The brilliant blues guitarist Matthew Stubbs can shred with anyone and his principal gig as lead player for Charlie Musselwhite affords him plenty of opportunity to tear it up. When he's in New England on breaks his world shifts to his own music and his own band The Antiguas. The instrumental quintet is styled around a 60's soul/garage/surf mix with a loungy exotica twist. Tight, experimental, improvisational and as fun as music gets...these guys should be hitting every college town in the US!
