Breakin' in a new string library and some new outboard equipment on this one! Also giving tribute to Marcus Miller and Alex Han's live version of this song. Alex is a super inspiring musician, and I learned a ton just listening to what he played on their live version. I hope to meet that cat someday.
for the folks out there doing videos of themselves performing, i used Soundflower to send the audio live from Logic (use a bus) right into QuickTime, whose audio inputs were assigned to SoundFlower. So, basically, what you hear coming out of Logic is exactly what gets recorded into the video, right in sync! You have to make an aggregate device to allow yourself to hear it in your headphones and simultaneously have it show up in Quicktime. But i'll never make another video any other way!
I'm tracking thru: AKG C414B-ULS into AML ez1073-500 into ClassicAPI VC528 into Serpent Audio SB4001 (only feeding one side) into a MOTU Traveler. The AML, ClassicAPI and Serpent Audio are all kits for a GroupDIY 51X rack(also a kit) that i built myself :-D
