Phat Phunktion has taken their CDs and their live show on the road throughout the Midwest adding to the number of faithful phatheads that are now spreading the word. Horns and TimThey have been blessed with the opportunity to play with some of the greatest groups of all time, including The Temptations, Maceo Parker, Tower of Power, WAR, Cameo, Morris Day and the Time, The Original "P" (featuring original members of Parliament), The Average White Band, Chick Corea, Maynard Ferguson and soon Taj Mahal, The Brothers Johnson, and Earth, Wind, and Fire. With their own brand of Funk, R&B, and Jazz, they have built a huge following of fans that won’t take "show’s over" for an answer. Their CD release party for "Here We Go!" drew an estimated 5,000 people, setting an attendance record. The band has made numerous appearances at the Madison Blues Festival, Milwaukee’s Summerfest, the House of Blues in Chicago, and has been a featured artist on The Jenny Jones Show.They aim to please and have yet to do otherwise. The Phat packs an enormous punch with four powerful horns, four accomplished vocalists, and a vise-tight rhythm section that have heated up crowds to the point of spontaneous combustion.
