Masonic Records is a collective of people seeking progress mutual support and inspiration. By relying on the fortune of goodwill, on perseverance in times of hardship and on the power of knowledge we achieve our goals. As a group with wide reaching talents and interests, together we can flourish.



Symbolically the pyramid which we use as signature represents the founding principle on which this collective was formed. The Base or point of the pyramid is formless, but that point is the root of opportunity from which a great structure grows. The arms of the pyramid are supposed to reach out and not to enclose oneself becoming completely occupied with inward thoughts. And also signifying an archive for which art, music, speech, and knowledge of engineering can supply a mass audience.



The eye represents the third eye. The hidden sense every individual possesses within them, and it is the ultimate source of perception in higher animals. The third eye also depicts the centrality of awareness and insight to the operation of this collective.



The Name itself MASONIC comes from term MASON i.e. Stone -mason or architect, because we are all creators in our own right, be it audio engineer, mc, oil painter or any other craft in which a person can learn and master. SONIC is an another word for sound which fits perfectly with our organisation as you will have already discovered, combine the two and you have MASONIC RECORDS.



The events which our label promote are called SECTIONS i.e. SECTION9 OR SECTION6. This is dependant on the area in which the event is held. It is the post code of that particular area which will determine the number after the section. As Brixton's post code is SW9, Our event is entitled SECTION 9.
