Mission Impossible Vs Libertango - by Room Quartet - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 20, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
Mission Impossible VS Libertango is a mash-up proposed by Room Quartet. Its an original arrangement by guitarist/composer Nicolò Renna; in this work two famous pieces of music are merged: the main theme from the movie “Mission Impossible” written by Lalo Schifrin and “Libertango” by Astor Piazzolla; here and there in this arrangement are also new compositional ideas by Nicolò Renna himself.

Room Quartet, a chamber music ensemble formed by Nicolò Renna (classical guitar), Giuseppe Fantauzzo (violin), Angelo La Porta (oboe), Gaspare Renna (percussions). An atypical quartet indeed, consisting of musicians of academic training, offering a repertoire of classical matrix, influenced by Celtic sounds, pop, flamenco and Argentine tango. The fresh and original sound of the quartet, featuring also original compositions written by the musicians themselves, make it a really new and avant-garde project.
