Manganzoides

ESPAÑOL: Desde 1996, garage rock, psych y surf desde Lima, Peru. Empiezan a tocar en público en 1997 y su primer lanzamiento fue el cassette "Manganzoides" en 1998, seguido por "Más Dosis!!!" en 2000. El material original del primer cassette fue editado en vinilo en 2000 por Repent Records, mientras que los 2 cassettes completos fueron editados en un solo CD, "Dosis Completa", en el 2001 por la revista Caleta (reeditado enPeru y Argentina 2007 por Discos Gordos/Rastrillo). Volvieron al estudio en el 2001 y estas fueron incluidas en el CD de No Fun Records (Argentina/USA) "Sobredosis de Horror" (2002) junto con todo el material de "Mas Dosis!!!". En Peru editaron "Ciudad del horror" (Caleta, 2002) con el material nuevo del 2001 y con otros ineditos y en vivo. Después de algunas interrupciones, en el 2003-2004 grabaron "Radio Komodo", editado en el 2004 por No Fun Records en USA y por Union Discos/Komodo en el Peru. En el 2006 prepararon su CD final con 14 nuevas canciones, "El Entierro de los Manganzoides", editado a fin de año por Rastrillo Records de Argentina. Dieron sus últimos conciertos en el 2007 en Lima y en Buenos Aires.



ENGLISH: Since 1996, garage/psych/surf rock from Lima, Peru! They started playing live in 1997 and their first release was the "Manganzoides" cassette in 1998, followed by "Mas Dosis!!!" in 2000. The original material from the first tape was released in a split LP by Repent Recs (California), while the two cassettes were re released as a single CD, "Dosis Completa" in Peru (reissued in 2007 in Peru and Argentina). We went back to the studio in 2001 and these songs were included in the No Fun CD "Sobredosis de Horror" (2002) along witn the "Mas dosis!!!" songs. In Peru we released "Ciudad del horror" (Caleta, 2002), including the 2001 tracks and live/rare material. After some interruptions, in 2003-2004 we recorded "Radio Komodo", which was released by No Fun in the US and by Union/Komodo in Peru. In 2006 we recorded our final album, "El entierro de los Manganzoides", with 14 brand new songs. It was released by the Argentinian label Rastrillo Records in October 2006 and the band's last concerts were in Lima and Buenos Aires in mid 2007.
