Makempay is a successful, Connecticut-grown emcee focused on lyrical skill, relevant beats, and heavy energy. In the live market - As a founding member of the well known Connecticut based group ANYTIME VOLCHAZ (A.T.V), along with D.W.I, he’s played shows at venues such as Club Zone in Springfield, Masschusetts, the Hippodrome with Jim Jones, Connecticut University with Mos Def, and Toads Place with The Clispe. His debut album Fact Of Life sold 5,000 copies locally, Makempay has appeared on a bunch of mixtapes that his A.T.V group continuously put out in the streets of CT. he has also been on heavyweight Dj mixtapes as well. like Dj Big Premiere, and Kochece to name a couple. He has also released a bunch of his own mixtapes with the latest being "Hurricane Katrina" vol 1 hosted by Big Premiere. Currently Makempay stays hard at work, you can see him on the C.O.D dvd series spittin a hot freestyle, he also just recently link up with Frenchie from the popular Cocaine City dvd series, so be on the lookout for that along with the song they recorded that will appear on the upcoming "Hurricane Katrina" vol 2.
