JUICE lets the creative juices loose.

Juice, the brand new album from Madcaps is making some noise on a very genuine and back-to-basics level. This funky, energetic and highly rhythmic collaboration was influenced by the likes of Curtis Mayfield, Sly Stone, The Strokes, The Rolling Stones, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Iggy Pop, Jon Spencer and more. And, marks the return to the band’s musical roots.

This real and rhythmic foot forward comes from a band highly seasoned from a number of tours both across Canada and France.

Thought-provoking lyrics teeter the lines between both the optimism and the reality of the human experience, as told from a present day and future perspective.

Collaboration from keyboardist, Simon Lapointe, adds a totally new dimension to the sound, thanks to his subtle but bright notes. As well, funk-like brass is back with Jason Sharp, Mathieu Van Vliet (PapaGroove) and David Carbonneau (Afrodizz) in the wings.

Juice was recorded by Alex Fallu (Pawa Up First), mixed by Glen Robinson (Grimskunk, Tea Party, Voivod) and remastered by the renowned Brian « Big Bass » Gardner (of Eminem and Red Hot Chili Peppers, fame).

The album will be released in March, in time for a major Canadian tour.
