Luke graduated with honors from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2001. He has studied with Donna Coleman, Paul Grabowsky and Paul Bley. Amongst others he has performed with FGHR, Phil Gould, Leonard and Slava Grigoryan, Maddy Hay and the Melbourne Symphony. A finalist in the 2001 and 2004 Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competitions, he has been living in Berlin since 2009.



In 2010 he released the trio album The Meadowlands and the debut record of the ensemble Magnolia.
