DESCRIPTION:
Luis Villegas is a Mexican-American guitarist who is nominated for "the best new age album of the year" in 99" Grammy-awards. Luis was born in East Los Angeles/California, a first generation son of Mexican immigrants. Luis is currently performing in a band "Heavy Mellow" founded by LA flamenco guitarist Benjamin Woods. Heavy Mellow performs heavy metal classics by the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne and others but in a flamenco trio set up of two flamenco guitars and a cajon player.
