Los FARSANTES

La banda sevillana "Los Farsantes", ha sido elegida ganadora del concurso de versiones del album "London Calling" de The Clash convocado por Radio3- Radio Nacional de España. El tema "Me voy, papito" es una versión de "Brand New Cadillac", canción original de Vince Taylor incluida en el album "London Calling". Los Farsantes realizan una lectura en clave revanchista de los estereotipos del rockn roll, que desborda vitalidad, groove y transgresion en la forma de abordar la revisión de un clásico. 
"Me voy, papito" se ha alzado entre las más de 60 versiones presentadas al concurso y ha sido pinchado en diferentes programas de Radio3 : "Hoy empieza todo" (entrevista y concierto 11/01/2010), "El Ambigú" de Diego Manrique (8/01/2010), "Capitán Demo" (15 y 22 /01/2010), "Peligrosamente juntos" (25/01/2010). Los Farsantes se autodefinen como una banda de electro-mestizo. Con un pié en el pop-rock y otro en la world music, predomina la atmósfera y el baile: drum &bass, techno-house, funk-hop, dub, roots music Las letras hablan de las miserias y contradicciones del caos global, de oscuridad y optimismo en este mundo lleno de ruido, mentiras y partículas subatómicas  Su potente y enérgético directo te hará vibrar!! .

The spanish band "Los Farsantes"', has been elected as winner of the contest of versions of the album The Clash's "London Calling", summoned for Radio3 – Radio Nacional de España. The song "Me voy papito" is a version of "Brand New Cadillac", Vince Taylor's original song included in the album "London Calling". "Los Farsantes" realize a reading in a revenge key of the stereotypes of the rock'n roll, which vitality exceeds, groove and transgression in the way of approaching the review of a classic song.
