The b-side of the Models’ 45, “Local &/Or General”

Having formed in Melbourne, Australia in the late 70s, the Models released some 45s and albums in the early 80s, which charted in Australia. The group’s second album, “Local And/Or General”, released on Mushroom Records, reached #30. The title was released in Australia as a 45 but did not chart. The album was recorded at the Farmyard Studios in Buckinghamshire, England.

“Telstar” was originally recorded by the Tornados in 1962 and their version reached #1 in the UK and the US.
