DESCRIPTION:
The Genitron, a digital quartz clock, was started in 1987 at the Georges Pompidou Centre (Beaubourg), Paris. It counted down the number of seconds until the year 2000.

The song "Seconds" by Little Nemo is dedicated to this clock.
