DESCRIPTION:
The Rivertown Bluegrass Society is a non-profit corporation based in Conway, SC dedicated to the preservation of this unique American musical art form. Each month they hold a 4 hour concert featuring the best local and regional Bluegrass Bands.

At the end of the concert, all the participating bands, their guest artists, students, and other amateur players join on stage for a "Grand Finale". It's a wonderful opportunity for up and coming artists and students to play onstage with the pros, and learn a few licks too.

This Grand Finale was recorded January 18, 2014 at the Burroughs and Chapin Auditorium on the Conway campus of Horry-Georgetown Technical College.
