For nearly a decade, American Heartbreak have been one of rock's underground heroes, but now they aim to leave the underground behind and follow in the footsteps of their arena rock idols.

Having toured with such giants as The Hellacopters, The New York Dolls, The Donnas, Queens of the Stone Age, Buckcherry, Warrant, Cinderella, The Scorpions, Dio, Sebastian Bach and L.A. Guns, they've proven that while trend-seekers may be fawning over the latest batch of rock "saviors" as if the genre was invented only yesterday, American Heartbreak is the real deal - a band impervious to fads and driven purely by the desire to play loud, catchy rock.

Following several years of gigs alongside some of the biggest names in Canadian music as an in-demand session guitarist, Toronto’s Sean Kelly founded CRASH KELLY. The goal was to combine the best of classic Aerosmith, Stones, Kiss, T-Rex and other influences with the guitar-heavy edge and glam flash of 1980s Sunset Strip rock.

In 2006, after teaming with Gilby Clarke (Guns N’ Roses, Rock Star Supernova) to record sophomore album Electric Satisfaction, the band hit the road for a North American tour alongside Alice Cooper that included a stop at the legendary Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Stockholm, Sweden has given birth to some of heavy music's most infamous acts, but the city's newest export, Crucified Barbara, is something entirely different: four girls who just want to rock - although boys and booze aren't far behind.

In Crucified Barbara’s case, the maxim “don’t judge a book by its cover” is worth repeating, for though that cover is undeniably attractive, there’s a serious rock band behind it. In other words, while their looks might catch your eye, it’s their sound that’s the true knockout.

It's been said that Fireball Ministry carries the torch for the future of rock 'n' roll, and the L.A. purists – who’ve toured with everyone from Disturbed, H.I.M. and CKY to Clutch, Dio and Motorhead – continue to unrepentantly fan its flame with every thunderous power chord.

Fireball Ministry is everything a rock 'n' roll band should be: loud, proud, dirty, visceral and even a little bit dangerous. Whenever the "first church of rock 'n' roll" delivers a sermon, its message reverberates as loudly as the amplifiers they play.

The legendary SoCal quartet – hailed by their hometown O.C. Weekly as “soul-cleansing, no-frills, balls-out rock n’ roll” – have returned with new EP, Hung Out To Dry. The four-track release - released in a unique dual format in which a 7” vinyl single and a four-track compact disc are packaged together in a gatefold seven-inch sleeve – contain two songs from their forthcoming tenth studio album, a cover of Van Halen’s “D.O.A.” and an original track exclusive to the EP, which is limited to 3,000 copies worldwide. Look for their new full-length We Must Obey in February!

To some, the name Apollo signifies the son of Zeus, best known as the Greek god of sunlight. To others, it brings to mind NASA’s fabled space exploration program that included six landings on the lunar surface. To rock fans, though, Apollo now has new meaning – the fourth album from L.A. power trio Nebula, whose cosmic cocktail of heavy riffs, electric blues and psychedelic space rock has earned the band international (and, dare we say, universal) acclaim.
