DESCRIPTION:
Just got the Cavalier Nashville Lion in the mail. This thing is a beast. It's Rob Distefano's take on the Broadcaster pickup. I had him over wind mine a bit to 10515 winds (about 8.3k) with a Alnicu 3 magnets and 42 gauge wire. This thing twangs like crazy when you want it to and growls like a beast at the drop of a hat too. The sustain is crazy too.

The neck pickup is Novak HUM-WR. It's a PAF sized WRHB, fits in a normal size humbucker slot. This thing is killer, same output and construction as a real Wide Rage Humbucker sans the CuNiFe magnets, only in a smaller package. I have this one lowered a bit to better match the Cavalier Nashville Lion in the bridge. It's nice and clear and a good complement to the bridge pickup when adjusted correctly.

The middle position is very nice with these two. I'm not normally a middle position lover, but it definitely works for me in this guitar.
