I did some thrift store rummaging and subbed some Canadian coinage for electrodes, as well as a light-dependent resistor for adjusting the toy's internal clock speeds in the rhythm bank and four drum pads, as well as some potentiometers for fine-tuning. The wobbly blue LED-on-a-wire was later used to replace the stock red LED, which we all know is not nearly as cool...
