With this new album "LES DOIGTS DE L'HOMME" ( the fingers of people) have the wish of get out of the old way of thinking and operation of Jazz Manouche, of the Swing. Even there remains a base; a pretext for the meeting, the idea, what they want to do is to impregnate the styles in order to make something personal. Under testing the limits and looking for the other colours and envies, it allows to the band to accomplish a quite proper fusion.

The compositions draw from the universe of Olivier Kikteff and some other members of group. The inspirations are universal and notably oriental and Balkan. A willingness of developing this proper style for the instruments with strings can be inspired with the different sonorities that we could classify in the musical world and the jazz world.

The arrangements show themselves very worked and rather inspired with the manner of their behaviours of the originality and the sonority. Wishing to create a music that could appear popular and accessible fro the mass public, the interpretation remains fluid, clear and musical. The emotion, the sensibility and the dream are omnipresent.
