Leroy Lovett was a pianist, arranger, and composer from Philadelphia. Lovett's career included a period working with Norman Granz at Clef and Norgran Records (Granz's pre-Verve ventures) arranging for Billie Holiday, Bud Powell, and Buddy Rich, among others. At the time of this recording, Lovett was the head of A&R at Wynne Records.

About the credits: The credits included with the album are somewhat incomplete. In the liner notes, "If It's The Last Thing I Do" is credited to someone named "Warren", but as far as I know, at the heart of this arrangement is the Cahn/Chaplin song by that name. No one specific is credited with the vocals on "Judaline", but I am assuming they are performed by Leroy Lovett. On side 2, the writing credit for "ABC Hop" is listed only as "Brown". It's possible that this refers to Bob Brown, who plays sax on this record.
AUDIO: Despite what the image in the video may say, the audio was ripped from a mono copy of Lee Plus 3 (Wynne Records, WLP-110; 1959) on an Audio-Technica LP60 USB turntable. Track breaks were added in Audacity. No other changes or "improvements" have been made to the audio.
