Lene Nørrelykke

My name is Lene Nørrelykke and I am 31 years old. I've been singing gospel since I was 13 years old and I have been leading gospelchoirs since I was 17 years old. Since 1993 I have been on gospelworkshops and gospelfestivals in Poland, Norway, Germany, Italy and all over Denmark, teaching and singing.



In 2003 and 2005 I was in Danish Television in the program "Star for a night" where I made to the finals. In 2006 I was in the Danish Song Contest and came in nr. 3.



Since 1993 I have been leading several different gospelchoirs in Denmark. I am now leading a gospelchoir from Århus (DK), REJOICE. I work part time in the Methodist Church in Århus as the musicpastor and worshipleader.



In september 2006 I tried out singing in a musical for the first time, when I played the leading role in the Elton John/Tim Rice-musical AIDA.



In november 2006 I released my very first soloalbum "Why I Sing", which is an album with some of my favorit gospelsongs.
