Lee is one of the few Australian Indepedent Artists currently touring Australia with a Band. The past 4 Lee and his band have have travelled over 300,000 kilometres. They have played a huge varietyof shows including, the Gympie Muster (QLD), Mudbulls and Music(QLD), the Mildura Country Music Festival(VIC), Urban Muster(QLD), The Top of the Gulf Festival(SA), the Mountain Cattlemans Get Together(VIC), St. Arnauds Truck show(VIC), The Kalgoorlie Race Round (WA) and the Darwin Show and Darwin BNS (NT) Daley Waters BnS (NT) and also Elquestro, Kakadu and Ayers Rock resorts. Most of these events have already asked them back to perform again. The huge range of shows they have performed at have been BnS Balls, Rodeos, Aboriginal Communities, pubs, clubs, country music musters and festivals, peoples paddocks, weddings and in numerous towns from Kalgoorlie to Caboolture, Broome to Orbost, Fremantle to Tamworth. They have performed in front of over 53,000 people in the past year.
Lee Forster is one of Australia's most exciting new singers, songwriters and performers and his debut album, "Keep Safe on The Track", showed exactly what this fella is made of! It's all about fun, cheekiness, drinkin, trucks, dogs, trains, utes, dams, girls and even love. I guess the themes are what you'd expect from a young Aussie bloke with a heart of gold who can write a good song and sing.
"Barroom Buddies" is the first single from Lee Forster's Brand New album. Along with mate Stuie French, these two fella's have put together a fun album of Drinkin' songs. Titled "Longnecks and Rednecks" it is sure to be played at many parties, bbqs and anywhere Aussies like to get together for amusing shingdigs. Lee says "After the great responses from other drinking song releases like "Drinkin Bone", "Fire in the Bar" and "Drink up and be Somebody", I felt an album of these songs would be awesome to record". So we went back into our record collections, found a bunch of classics and even wrote a few of our own.
So look out for "Longnecks and Rednecks" coming to a Barroom near YOU!
Lee's previous release "Keep Safe on the Track" had many HITS including "A Fire in the bar" which reached number four on the singles charts. "1,000 Headlights" made it to number 5 and has also been featured on Bundy Country 2 album. It is also on the brand new "Boys from the Bush" Australian Men of country music compilation album featuring, Lee Kernaghan, Adam Brand, Steve Forde and many other leading Australian Male country singers.
"The Good Tones" which is an uptempo duet with singing Truckie Travis Sinclair made it to Number 2 on the singles charts. It is also came in number five in the Top 50 songs of 2008. p>

playing a huge variety of shows all over Australia.
8.He is the 11th most played Independent country artist on the world
wide MYSPACE.
