We’ve just put on the Led Boots, from J.Rockett Audio Designs. Rockett engineered the Led Boots to cover that midrange-heavy late ‘60s British tone that characterized classic rock. It's also their tribute to the great Jeff Beck, who knows a thing or two about the dynamics of amp overdrive. While subtle tones are possible with the Led Boots, the pedal excels at clear, punchy, harmonically rich drive that conquers all band mixes. The two-band EQ helps the Led Boots adapt to all guitar and amp combinations, and the onboard Boost really pushes things to 11. The boost features an independent volume control, as well as a chime control to add in extra clarity and note definition. Best of all, the boost is independent of the drive circuit, so it can be used to spice up solos and rhythm lines alike with or without the gnarly crunch of the Boots. Like all Rockett pedals, the Led Boots is made in the USA with top shelf components and true bypass switching.
