DESCRIPTION:
Written and arranged by Lauren Kinhan for New York Voices Vocal Jazz Camp 2017. Campers learn the piece orally in 4 one hour classes that meet daily throughout the week.

Historically, the pieces I write and arrange every year are relevant to current events. 2017 has been a particularly challenging year with much to comment on and respond to. "All I Wanna Do Is Wail" was the first thing I answered when I asked myself what I wanted to write about. After the most recent hate demonstrations in Charlottesville and the tragic loss of Heather Hayer who was bravely representing so many of us in resisting the lunacy of the Alt Right Supremacy, she is one of the many lives that we lost due to others selfishness and sickness.

I don't propose to have the answers, but I do believe it's important to WAIL! Wail against the wrongs..... together. From there, we find the Hip Bone and we can put some weight into our Constitution!
