Born in the home of Hip HopBronx, New York and raised on the West Side of Cleveland, Latin Assassin has always been "In Love" with the culture that has cultivated it's way to becoming the forerunner in musical and digital entertainment HIP HOP!!!! After graduating from Lincoln West High School and seeing first hand how classmates (Layzie Bone and Flesh Bone) proved that Cleveland has something to offer, his passion for music became an obsession in learning how to Dj.After a failed attempt to earn a bachelor's degree at The Ohio State University.(Shouts to Smith Hall) and being forced to return home to Cleveland and forced to work odd jobs, he finally had his opportunity in the summer of 1999 when Radio One purchased the frequency that will eventually be the home of Cleveland's Blazin Hip Hop and R&B.Z1079!!!!! Working his way up through engineering, promotions and programming to be one of the most liked and energetic personalities Cleveland has produced, Latin Assassin has worked with various organizations throughout the community and has consistently been very visible in his city.His words are "I believe that if you let people know that you really and genuinely care about what you do for them they will always support you unconditionally and that is why I LOVE CLEVELAND". Also an advocate of supporting local artists, Latin Assassin has hosted various mixtapes and features local artist on The Home Jamz. The "Shut It Down Show" can be heard weeknights starting at 6pm-12mid.blazing The 9 o'clock mixtape with the addition of one of the hottest mixer/personalities Dj Steph Floss!!!!
