D.j. Step-one

Every D.J has a story of how they started out. D.J. Step-one is not different from other D.J's, but his story is not typical of most D.j's. " I walked into a store and saw a set of turntables and bought them, I thought it would help my rap career. I took them home and they sat in my room for a year, I was never inspired by the local D.J's in the area. I honestly did not like the way blends sounded", D.J. Step-one recalls. "I never touched my turntables until I was hired to open up for Bizzy Bone at a local show in Akron". D.J. Step-one's D.Jing career then took off D.Jing for local fraternities in the area and house parties. D.J. Step-one got a big break after opening up for Juelz Santana. " I was getting so many big gigs that I had to start puttng out mix-tapes", D.J. Step-one recalls. D.J. Step-one put out his first major mix-tape in 2005 "The Step-one Show hosted by Stat Quo" The mix-tape help start a buzz in Northeast Ohio. D.J. Step-one then released the follow up "Step-one Show Season 2". The success of both these mix-tapes help D.J. Step-one rise to the top of the Midwest rookie class. D.J. Step-one is one of the rising stars in the mix-tape game and will continue to release mix-tapes for REAL Mix-tape fans who love scratching and blending.
