The Dancing Bridge is a project that uses audio to generate visuals on Carnegie Mellon's Pausch Bridge. We used TouchDesigner to analyze 20 bands of audio, from 40Hz to 20,000kHz, and when a band's volume reaches a certain threshold, we trigger a corresponding event on the bridge. The colors are indicative of frequency: lower frequencies are more red, higher frequencies are more violet, matching up with the visible spectrum.
