La Matanga nace en la V región en el año 2014, y fue formada por un grupo de amigos repartidos en toda la zona. El estilo musical que forjamos se llama la fusión Chilensis y apunta al hecho de retroalimentarse de vivencias y polémicas sociales que identifiquen a nuestra generación, acompañando dichos pasajes con ritmos latinoamericanos populares.

La Matanga was born in the 5th region in 2014 from a group of friends from the area. The musical style they made is called "chilensis fusion" and it points the fact of getting feedback from experiences and social controversies of their generation melted with popular latin rithms.
