berimbau iuna - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 27, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
A quick berimbau tutorial on the toque (rhythm) of Iuna. Learn the notes and where it fits with the pandeiro so you won't fall off beat. Other variations are also played near the end.

x - buzz or ti (lightly press the rock on the wire, gourd against your body)

o - open or dom (rock is off the wire, hit under where the rock would be placed. Move the cabaca (gourd) away from your body)

ox - open note but pedra is applied to stop the arame's vibration (creates a short buzz sound. start with cabaca away from body and bring it close as you apply the arame)
