TALKSHOW
Zack Branch - cello
Andrew Delclos - bassoon
Jarrett Gilgore - alto sax

Talkshow is about the musical accidents that happen when the lines between the written and the imagined, the implied and the explicit, and the aggregate and the separate, are obscured, highlighted, sublimated, and forgotten. To achieve this sensation, the members of Talkshow bring a focused intensity and spontaneity to every performance, rehearsal, and commercial break with the mutual commitment to consistently deliver a performance that is both unpredictable and unabbreviated. Following in the footsteps of such innovators as Star Jones, Joy Behar, and Barbara Walters, the members of Talkshow bring three distinct voices to composition, improvisation, and current events stemming from disparate backgrounds and life experience. We play music that celebrates the possibilities of musical dialogue. We're a bibliographical unit -- an article, chapter, or other portion of a larger work, printed from the same type but issued separately. Sometimes with additional pages.

LEAP
Dave Ballou- trumpet/compositions
John Dierker- tenor sax
Chris Pumphrey- fender rhodes
Dan Ryan- electric guitar

LEAP is a quartet consisting of two acoustic instruments (trumpet and tenor sax) and two electric instruments (electric guitar and fender rhodes piano).
These four improvising musicians blend composed material with group interplay to create their soundscapes.
The name of the group comes from the day they played their second concert as a unit- 2/29/12.
