About Random Recipe
Fab & Fanster met at a show in 2005 which launched their friendship revolving around music.
The 2 gals actually grew closer in this half year appart as Fab would be the only one who would bother replying to Fran's stupid (yet epic) travelling emails... Fab would inform her about new theories she came up with, and typed down the unreadable rhymes she had earlier scribbled down on a napkin on the bus ride home.

When they reunited, they started jamming in Holt street's famous Shed, in parks, on the streets, in taxi cabs and in pizza places. From hip hop to trip hop, pop to funk, latin to folk, they juggled around with styles, representing very well the musical influences of many of their 1986 generation...

On whatever sidewalk Fran felt she could possibly force Fab into improvising a show, they did. They never cared finishing or polishing their songs... after all, their only interested listenners were the Main's late wandering drunks... Would they care to remember?

Then came stoner Giselle Webber. Having freestyled in the streets for her and this nice cab driver months ago, Giselle recognized the girls at Quai des Brumes' Rap Maudit (monthly open-mic night organized by Seba and Khyro). Broke, they had bargained their way in versus a first ever stage performance...

Entrance fee : 5$ / Budget : non-existant / First stage performance ever caught on tape by Vero.b : priceless...

Later on, random jams with Giselle, Gambletron, and Dany from CPC Gangbangs (all present that night at that memorable Rap Maudit) officialized Random Recipe and launched these girls into this crazy trip...

The two girls later went back to the core of Random Recipe and invited into the project guitariste émérite et ami Vincent Legault and et son acolyte percussionniste LiuKong Ha who permitted the chicks to play the songs that they were actually hearing in their heads...

So... they are slloowwwly getting somewhere see?!
