國片，顧名思義是國家的電影片，也可以代表了該國的文化、歷史及人文風情，國片的功能除了紀錄，更可以行銷當地景色，促進觀光發展。而近年來，越來越多的台灣之光逐漸崛起，立足於世界電影殿堂，也讓越來越多的外國朋友得以透過影片認識台灣、了解台灣；但相對的，政府的輔助政策並沒有跟上發展，總是事後諸葛、馬屁心態，當這些導演尚未綻放光芒時，總是乏人問津，於是這首歌除了紀錄台灣電影發展的歷史，也為所有的台灣導演加油。

本歌取樣金馬獎頒獎典禮的主題曲，由藝術家樊曼儂所創作的「金馬奔騰」，並且請來了擁有靈騷美聲的好朋友Pezen來共同創作及獻聲跨刀，將整首歌添上了一股濃濃的靈騷氣息，打造不同於拷秋勤以往的創作風格，而在文字上面，先是用第一人稱導演的心酸陳述，打開整首歌的話題，再來轉換為第三人稱，用紀錄者的角度述說國片發展的歷史，最後則是以影迷的第二人稱角色來為國片提出建議及給予鼓勵，用全方位的角度來送給所有的導演以及優質的國片，讓我們一起來為國片加油。


Film helps to preserve our way of life.

Film represents a country's culture, history and its people. Aside from presenting a story, film can also help to promote local sceneries and tourism. In recent years more and more excellent Taiwanese films have been produced and won world wide acclaims. International audiences get to know more about Taiwan through films. At the same time, however, we feel that our government does not make enough effort to help out the movie industry. This song is written to document the history of Taiwanese filmmaking and paying tributes to all the Taiwanese directors.

We sampled Ms. Fan Man-Nong's work "Golden Horse Awards", the theme music for the Golden Horse Awards. We have also invited Pezen to work with us on the composition and incorporated his enchanting voice, giving the track a very thick soul. The lyrics start off with a first-person narrative, telling a film director's story as an opening to the theme. Then the song switched to a third-person voice, giving a brief history of the movie industry in Taiwan. Last it switches to the audience's point view, giving suggestions and encouragements to Taiwanese films.
