Touching down in Chicago Illinois, August 7, 1982, Christian Crosier, (a.k.a Kon-Tac a.k.a Sonny Karson) was born and ready to take on the world. After graduating high school in the spring of 2000 he attended Columbia College in Chicago where he majored in commercial advertising. I loved Columbia, but I had too many issues I was dealing with. You know sometimes stress makes you loose focus, and once thats gone, so goes the pictures! Labeled as a college dropout, Kon-Tac was featured on, S.W.A.T Teams hit single in late 2001, Yo Side which was provided by Chi Towns own, Hula Muhone, and Grammy award winner Maurice Joshua. After a slight delay in his new found career, Kon-Tac would be heard on tracks like Bend Over and the O.K. remix on the Line-Ups mix-tape, The Crossover Vol. 1 which hit Chicagos streets in the summer of 2003. Finding his nitch in music, Kon-Tac joined Maffs Tests Lockout. Lockout was whats up, me, Voyce, Trials, and Test. We dropped straight hits, no B.S. You know though, in any group, squad, or team there got to be respect and unity. Test, he felt like he was the David Ruffin. So I dipped to do my own thing. By any means, Kon-Tac founded Black Colla Entertainment, a local recording label in 2005. Back in the paint with two new faces, producer Chris ILL, and Label mate Lorenzetti Milano, Kon-Tac was once again the talk of the town in Chicago. Taking a role in the hip-hop movement, Kon-Tac has been creating an image and making noise on radio stations in Chicago. Such as the Eddie and Jobo show on B96, and Chi Blizzs Chicago Power Hour on Power 92. Also Kon-Tac and Black Colla have opened up venues for Luda Cris, Young Jeezy, Slim Thug, Twista, and Bump J. We done already tapped into Chicago, we been giving it to them, but at the same time, its time to tap into the world. With two creditable albums, a couple of mix-tapes, and several local features under his belt, Kon-Tac has just wrapped up the production of Black Collas DVD, The Karson Family, and is currently Co-writing and producing an independent film, Black Colla the Life. Every City it seems got a foot in the door of the industry, well get our chance in Chicago, I just gotta be in front when the door opens!
