DESCRIPTION:
While I was recording my other guitar/vox Coheed covers, I realized I could use the grand piano in the same space to record all of the Coheed and Cambria piano intro/interlude pieces. This is the intro to The Second Stage Turbine Blade of course, and was written and played by the band's amazing drummer Josh Eppard.

I love minimalism on piano (because it's all I can play!) and I'm not actually a pianist, so go easy on me and my bad technique! This was learned by ear and I don't have sheet music, sorry!

And yes, I have my friend Matt Koger (who played frame drum in the other covers) playing the bass notes I couldn't cover down there as my third hand, haha.

I thought the color set the mood for the album nicely. I will always associate this greenish/yellow shade with this album and dragonflies.
