DESCRIPTION:
1984 - I Remember we were at The Music Lab Recording Studio just off Sunset & Vine. We had these drum tracks but nothing else. For some reason i kept hearing a Vocoder over the track so I called Dave Storrs (Ice-T & Kid Frost's Producer) Dave arrives with his homemade Vocoder and 2 DJ's from "Knights Of the Turntables" It was getting late but we listened to the track a couple times, then Dave had an idea for a Bass Line ,, I had no Idea what to say on the vocoder, but the clock was ticking ... so we rolled the tape I Free-styled the Rap, Dave Free-styled the Bass Line ... one take & that was it.
