DESCRIPTION:
I goofed it and broke the cork inside the bottleneck. The top portion of the cork was already torn off by the corkscrew opener - but the remaining part was stuck in the neck of the bottle. Those who are familiar with this scenario understand the likelihood of pushing the remaining cork all the way down into the bottle - if trying to removing the last bit of cork with objects found in the kitchen (corkscrew, knife, or whatever). Now, this trick actually works! Thanks goes to a CNN video I saw 5 or 6 years ago showing a Frenchman opening a bottle without an opener. Now I have a reason to like France or at least one Frenchman.
