DESCRIPTION:
recorded from a re-run of a TV show broadcast in HR in '75 Germany, (Thanks Walter) My version of this awesome song by Fairport Convention, "Crazy Man Michael" became part of my "Trilogy of Madness" which includes my translation into German, of another song of Fairport's.... "The Ladies go Dancing at Whitsun"...which became "Pfingstlied"( with some fine-tuning of my German text by Hannes Wader..(Thanks Hannes!) btw, he later wrote some of his own lyrics to my guitar part, "Alle Huegel" for one of his own CDs, LOL how the songs travel indeed!)....and the last part of the trilogy my own "So long ago" ..a reprieve as it were for poor Michael....all on the CD "Listen to the SKY" published by Friedemann's Label "Vollton" .......in 1998(?)
Also for the guitareros out there the guitar of course is the "Dadou", self built together with Dadou Rosenberg in London 1972.... a couple of months after this TV appearance I dissappeared from the music scene , on the road to India, didn't really come back for 20 odd years.......What a trip!
