KITTY WU DIARY 2 // NYC - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 16, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Kitty Wu is currently working on their fifth studioalbum, following 2009's "Someone was here" (A:larm Music), and are documenting the process in a series of visually poetic short films.
The first episode offered a glimpse into singer and songwriter Robert Lund's sketchwork, an effort taking place in Berlin, where he recently resided. The stay in Berlin was the conclusion to a time of geografic straying, which has put it's clear mark on the band's initial work.
Second episode chronicles a last ekskursion, where Robert goes looking for a final surge of electricity before returning to Copenhagen to record with the band. His time in New York takes place during a heatwave, where the city goes through an earthquake as well as hurricane Irene, and subsequently steps into character in all it's subversive, unbalanced glory. This unique energy is very present in Robert Lund's images and will undoubtedly sift through into Kitty Wu's coming album.
