Susie Was A Real Wild Child - The "Star" Syncopators dir. by Wag Abbey - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 07, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
The most likely version to be found of this tune is by the Savoy Orpheans. I would like to offer this rendition by the "Star" Syncopators which was recorded c. April 1926.
As the word "Star" is highlighted, it is distinctly possible that Nat Star is in the band.
Leslie Sarony's first published song. I also like his compositions, "Forty seven ginger headed sailors" and the first one I found by him "Why build a wall round a graveyard", I don't know why I just do.
I like this one too record for Actuelle, one of the most attractive labels of the 1920's.
