DESCRIPTION:
The Kingsley Minstrel Version 2 is a tube overdrive pedal, featuring a 12ax7 vacuum tube operating at high voltage and pushed into overdrive by an FET transistor. Features include Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle and Bass controls, as well as a 3-way mode switch for 3 gain ranges.
This new version of the Minstrel runs off 9VDC @ 500mA. The old version ran off 12VAC @ 500mA and was considerably larger in size.
The amplifier used in the demo is a Kingsley Regent - a push pull 6L6 based fixed bias amplifier, running through a Kingsley 2 x 12 cabinet with one Celestion Greenback and one Celestion G12H30 (which is the speaker being miked - with a Sure SM57)
