The Strap-Ons played Transggender bars from Kimo's in San Francisco to Charlotte's Web in Norfolk VA during thier Coast to Coast US Tours.

The Strap-Ons have songs like

Well shit howdy! This is great! Absurb lyrics, that are much shouted as they are sung, over four cuts of very catchy, mid-tempo punk rock, which sounds like a mix of THE SEX PISTOLS, DEAD BOYS, HEARTBREAKERS and 50's rock n roll. Now, I know bands are mining this territory as of late, but trust me, this band stands HEADS and SHOULDERS over much of the pack. Very snotty, very catchy, very cool and the song "Strap on Sally" is a must hear. June 1999, Issue # 193

The Strap-Ons have a unique sound, somewhere between 77's styled rock and punk. Their lyricist sounds like Jello but their music dosen't follow the trend of that time. I caught some influences from country to hard-core on their CD. The Strap-Ons sound like some one put all kinds of PUNK music in a blender and put it on puree', yet they have maintain their originality. I think that we're going to see some great things from this band in time to come, if some big label doesn't ruin them first.
