Josie Parra and her family say they’ve been dealing with the pesky bee problem for almost two years.

We tried everything as you can see, foam, anything, fire…

Trying different tactics to handle the problem just didn’t work.

We tried the city of Houston. They said they don’t deal with that. They gave me the firefighter’s number.

Their neighbor Donita Precise who has been living in the subdivision for 13 years says she feels like a prisoner in her own home.

The thing is they’re getting aggressive more and more each day, and bigger.

So Claude Griffin from the Gotcha Pest Control came over in a heartbeat.

That’s the goldmine, right there. That’s it.

But as he dug deeper, it became extreme.

Just breaking off a couple of bricks wasn’t enough. There’s over two years of honey in the house. He now has to carve away a piece of the siding to get to the root of the problem.

Now that is a beehive.

After digging out pounds of honeycomb they still hadn’t scratched the surface. For that, they had to go inside.

They found honey dripping from the ceiling and hundreds of thousands of bees infesting the walls of her 5-year-old son’s room.

[Claude Griffin:]
Now. That is what happens.

Bees were everywhere, falling up and down the wall and he says by the look of it the
problem has been here for at least 10 years.
