I wanted to capture the beauty in the primal obsession of love. Messy love. Destructive love. The dopamine effect. The power of loss or struggle and what it drives humans to do. Sometimes we must fight for what we believe in, or who we love. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, sometimes we end up battling ourselves or end up consumed in our own pain. love and obsession can turn the most sane individual into a psychological mess, I wanted to capture that feeling in a film, I wanted to feel the rage and confusion of complex love, or love you simply don’t want to have but can’t seem to get away from. It could be the wrong timing, or you could be involved with someone else, it could be forbidden love, they could be completely wrong for you but there’s a magnetism that drives you completely insane. Thank you to my friend/ superstar Jordan Barrett for capturing the essence of the protagonist so well. Thank you to the crew who stayed in the freezing cold until 4am each night and thank you to Darren McDonald for directing such an incredible piece of work. I hope you enjoy. George xox
