DESCRIPTION:
The Kill City Dragons were: Steve Von Saint - Guitar, Billy G Bang - Vocals, Dave Tregunna - Bass and Backing Vocals and Danny Fury - Drums. Formed in London in 1989, they released a 12" Single and Album on Wideboy Records in 1990. Live they were great and had a strong Lords/Stiv connection, with Dave Tregunna and Danny Fury having played in The Lords, and Steve Von Saint having played with Stiv (as captured on the 'Stiv Bator and His Evil Boys Live at The Limelight' Album). Also of note is the fact that a couple of times when playing at The Marquee Club in London, they would have Birmingham Band 'Gunfire Dance' as support, whom featured future temporary Lord Ozzy on Drums.

Despite a strong pedigree, sound and image, things didn't work out for the Dragons and their recorded legacy is somewhat small. The Track 'Devil Calling', however, is a classic (Co-written by Dave Tregunna and Jan Stenfors a.k.a. Nasty Suicide). and the members all continued on in different bands. Dave Tregunna and Billy G Bang went on to play in 'Shooting Gallery' with Andy McCoy, and Danny Fury went on to play in 'Vain'. Steve Von Saint later reunited with Dave Tregunna in The Endorfiends. The Kill City Dragons album collects all their key tracks and is well worth seeking out.
