Kick Music A/S

Kick Music A/S is one of Denmark's biggest and oldest indie labels - 100% Danish owned - based in the heart of Copenhagen.



Kick Music A/S was founded in 1990 and has sinde then released more than 250 albums, mostly Danish by artists, but several non-Danish artists also found their way to the label from countries like Norway, USA, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Australia and even South Africa.



Furthermore Kick Music has been building up a strong import section, working with foreign release in Denmark, and from time to time also throughout Scandinavia.



"Passion" is an important keyword at Kick Music. Passion should be involved in all music we work with, we don't see music as 'products' and with that approach, we try to spread the music to as many as possible, inside and outside Denmark!



This also means that Kick Music is not at 'genre-label' - we believe that good music doesn't recognize borders, and as long as we at Kick Music feel that we understand what the artist are doing with his music, we would never consider it to be a problem if the genre is different from personal taste or against the current fashion in music.



That way we have also accomplished to be borderbreakers from time to time - not as a goal, but merely out of a combination of beliefs and pure luck.
