Kickin' it down

KICKIN' IT DOWN IS HISTORY NOW!

The band decided to split up but here's their story if you wanna know.

Kickin' it Down was formed in 2005 to play hardcore music. We all played in different

bands since 1993. such as Grudgers , Sidestep , All For Nothing , Pretended Justice

, Incarnation , By Sheer Force etc. influenced by U.S. hardcore bands of 1980's.

We wanted to keep the Hardcore music as it is and enjoy music as well as having

fun on shows, that's all.

The band recorded their first 6 song record, "The First Kick!" in 2006.03.31.

at BANDANAS STUDIO Budapest.

After a while we made another 4 songs in Ferencz Zsolti's Underground Studio and it have

been published both under HONEST FOR TRUTH RECORDS a strictly D.I.Y. record label

started by KisG (the first singer).



Kickin' It Down gave up their first drum player Rampl, and started to play with a new drummer namely Tibike. With that line up the band recorded two songs in Bandanas Studio for a compilation called, MAXIMUM HARDCORE STREET REVOLUTION Vol. 1. produced by Tizi of Bandanas and KisG.



After many shows Tibike had decided to leave the band so they got David from the band NOT THIS TIME, so the line up was full again and continued to kick more!



After a couple of shows KisG decided to leave the band as well due to several personal issues, so the rest of the band took two new vocalists in place of KisG. Domino - who sang previously in BY SHEER FORCE - and Bogyo was the fresh members. With the brand new line up they played a handful of shows but there were several problems the band couldn't handle, so the final conclusion was to split up. KisG continued in Motivation.

Recently the Phillipine WHATCORE RECORDS had released Kickin It Down "The First Kick" material on a split Cd with Accident Prone (Phillipines). Go get it from there.



We'd like to thank everyone who supported Kickin' It Down during this 2 years, bought our Cds, had fun on the shows, and loved our music. Thanks for all the band we played with and all the friends!
