QUOTES:
"Kerri Woelke has a voice on par with the best. I admire her passion."
- Michael Longoria (Percussionist - Patty Griffin)
"There's a rootsy charm to Kerri's voice and songwriting that I find rather captivating and believable. "Where we were" is an excellent, unique collection of songs written in the midst of life's manifold trauma's and delights. It rings true."
- Steve Bell (singer/songwriter)
"I believe that Kerri Woelke is walking into the back-alley light of stardom in the underworld of real music and songs. I love singing with her."
- Matt Epp (singer/songwriter)
"Kerri Woelke has a voice and personality as big as the prairies."
- Scott Nolan (singer/songwriter)
"We're proud she's Canadian and has delivered an honest and grace-filled project, all the while putting Winnipeg on the map with another talent to come from it's wings."
- Lindsay Whitfield (writer/soulshine magazine)

"Kerri's sophomore project is an affecting collection of song stories documenting a relationship under duress and a story that is not over. There is an ache to these songs and this recording that is honest and lovely, & reflecting the reality of the broken human condition lived consciously in the presence of God. Kerri's unassuming, rootsy style both as a vocalist and songwriter is wonderfully captured by producer Jordan Jackiew and imaginatively supported by multi-instrumentalist and long time friend Brian James. We're very pleased to be a part of Kerri's burgeoning career and contribution."
- Steve Bell (singer/songwriter)
"I received this album several months ago and was quite surprised to be so taken with it. Kerri has a unique energy that is compelling without being too "in your face." The first listen was pleasant enough but I found myself returning to the CD several times over the next weeks - something I don't often do. Great voice. Great songs. It's a terrible thing to compare, but one can certainly here overtones of Patti Griffin and Sarah Harmer in Kerri. The production is very nicely done - acoustic based, melodic and diverse. Each song grows on you in it's own time working their way into your consciousness as you find yourself humming bits and pieces throughout the day. Brian James (co-producer and multi-instrumentalist) adds all sorts of nuances and colour reminiscent of the likes of Kevin Briet.
I hope this is the first of many projects".
- Steve Bell (singer/songwriter) regarding Kerri's debut album
