if you've never heard of Kelly Reverb, it's probably because you never lived in Dallas. or Miami. or at the very least were never into Breaks. but you SHOULD know about him, because he was (and as far as i know, still is) a pillar of the Dallas electronica scene. he never released a huge amount of tracks, but this is probably because he was constantly DJing and running the weekly Edge Club electronica radio show (along with DJ Merritt, if i recall). i get the vague impression that he was also friends - or at least professionally acquainted - with DJ Icey (whom you definitely should have heard of), as there was a lot of trade-off between Dallas and Miami talent during that time.

in any case, all that being said, i heard this track at a UK Garage party in Vancouver :D it's kind of got that funky breaky Reverb feel to it, while still maintaining a distinct house beat... an excellent track all around. enjoy!
