This was an early version, made in preparation for the final album: 'Irish Song, Traditional and Sean Nós', released in 2013.

A tale of the troubles and misery connected to the Great Famine in Ireland. Including the resulting deaths, land confiscations, evictions and immigration which followed.
The song ends with the next generation taking up the cause of restoration and justice in Ireland, though now living abroad. This song first appeared in the 1800's.
